Rania and her sibllings live with her grandmother because the father is a drunkard and the mother could not take care of them. Rania’s grandmother is unable to pay the full school fees, so Rania is sent home many days. The grandmother is very old and sometimes fails to work at her tomato stall. This makes the whole family struggle in getting the basic necessities of life, including food.
