Cathy and her twin sister were born to a mother who worked as a prostitute and was unable to provide them with a stable, safe home. The two girls were taken in from the street and given refuge in a local pastor's home. For these girls, education is the path forward — it is what will give them the ability to build a future and become self-sufficient young women.
