Madina comes from a struggling background where financial difficulties have greatly affected her education. She was raised by her grandmother, who tried her best to support her schooling. However, due to a lack of school fees, Madina often attended school for a few days before being sent back home.
Unable to continue supporting her, Madina’s grandmother sent her to Kampala to look for her paternal aunt, whom she did find and so ended up on police which referred her to African hearts Transition home. Any opportunity for her to be in school is highly appreciated.
