After being diagnosed HIV positive and becoming too ill to care for her six children, Deborah's mother sent them to live with their grandmother, who is in her sixties. While there, Deborah suffered sexual abuse by her uncle. She has since received medical treatment and has been placed under the care of a school program. More than anything, Deborah desperately wants the opportunity to get an education.
