Nasitazia Namakula

Namakula was referred to African Hearts Girls' Transition Home by the police after being found as a missing child. Family tracing efforts revealed that she was not a member of the household she had originally been linked to. Her mother had placed her with a man believed to be her father, but without adequate care or a sense of belonging, Namakula ran away and turned to the streets.

She is currently receiving rehabilitation at Humming Bird House while social workers continue working to identify and connect her with a suitable family. Despite the instability she has endured, Namakula remains eager to return to school and continue her education.

We make a heartfelt appeal for a sponsor to support her enrollment and give her a stable foundation from which to move forward.
