Norah Namugenze

Norah lives with both parents. Her father, who was the family's primary provider, developed a chronic illness that left him blind and unable to work. Her mother now supports the family by doing manual labor for others, but the income she earns is not enough to cover their daily needs and her husband's ongoing medical care.

As a result of these financial pressures, Norah was withdrawn from school. She has now been out of school for a year. An opportunity to return would be deeply meaningful for her and her family.
