NAMBIRIIZI GOOD SAMARITAN

Nambiriizi Good Samaritan Christian School is in the Kyotera district of Uganda.  The area is one of the most remote and impoverished areas in Uganda.  Sometimes, the school cannot be reached by vehicle because the roads become impassable with even small amounts of rain.  Thousands of children in the area were orphaned during the war and the HIV epidemic.  Over 20 years ago, Pastor Sserwanja Josham founded Nambiriizi Good Samaritan Christian School to help these hopeless children.  His son Kagwa Moses, the first student at the school, is now in charge.  Currently, over 300 children attend Good Samaritan.  These children are provided with a Christian education and taught critical vocational skills.  
Many of these children are sponsored through Engage Hope, but so many more desperately need support.  A donation of $40 per month for a primary student (Pre-K and Elementary) or $55 for a secondary student (High School) provides tuition, food, and minor medical care as needed for the child.  Without support, many of the remote children in the Good Samaritan program will never be able to attend school.

Marvin Jackson lives in extreme poverty with his extended family.  His family is unable to afford school fees and without support he will be unable to attend school.  He enjoys playing musical instruments and dreams of becoming a pilot.
